Jordin (Jo) Rodondi
PhD student | Principal Co-Investigator Yoga for Autistic Youth (YAY)
Jordin (Jo) Rodondi (they/she) is a clinical psychology doctoral student at Palo Alto University in pediatric neuropsychology. They have a background in educational neuroscience developing novel cognitive assessments and conducting large-scale multidisciplinary field investigations at UCSF and Stanford using digital health and human-centered design for children with ADHD and depression. They have extensive clinical experience working with vulnerable youth and families with diverse clinical populations across the lifespan.
Their research interests include participant-informed R & D, interoception, anxiety, and mental health policy. Their current work is centered on developing real-world socio-emotional interventions for children with Autism and co-occurring mood conditions, and exploring transdiagnostic features of PTSD and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Jo is currently a clinical neuropsychology trainee at the Palo Alto VA Medical Hospital and the UCSF Dyslexia Center conducting assessments with children, young adults, adults, and older adults with complex medical profiles. They are a statistics teaching assistant in the Palo Alto University PhD program, and they serve as an advisory board member for the Palo Alto University eClinic. Before pursuing psychology, Jo worked in international education and has lived and taught abroad in several countries, primarily in Kenya. They are an international yoga and mindfulness educator and the founder of Love Roar Wellness. She teaches annually at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA and trained under Sianna Sherman, Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and Konda Mason.
