Jordin (Jo) Rodondi
Biography
Jordin (Jo) Rodondi (they/she) is a clinical psychology doctoral student at Palo Alto University in pediatric neuropsychology. They have a background in educational neuroscience developing novel cognitive assessments and conducting large-scale multidisciplinary field investigations at UCSF and Stanford, with both typically developing and neurodiverse children and adolescents, using digital health and human-centered design.
Their research interests include culturally-informed neuropsychological assessments, and improving treatment delivery models within education and healthcare systems. Their current work is centered on developing real-world socio-emotional interventions for children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD, and co-occuring disorders. They have extensive clinical experience working with vulnerable youth and families across the lifespan.
Jo is currently a student clinician at the Sexuality and Gender Identities Clinic at the Palo Alto University Community Center, a teaching assistant across statistics course sequences for the PAU doctoral programs, and they serve as an advisory board member for the Palo Alto University eClinic. Before pursuing psychology, Jo worked in international education and has lived and taught abroad in several countries, primarily in Kenya. They are a yoga and mindfulness educator in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the founder of Love Roar Wellness.
