Jaye Catron

MS student

E. Jaye Catron is a Master’s student in Psychology at Palo Alto University and a research assistant in the Affective Development Lab. Their work focuses on trauma and chronic emotional invalidation in autistic individuals, including how autistic ways of processing and interpreting experiences shape vulnerability to trauma. Jaye is particularly interested in improving how psychological research includes and represents autistic participants. Their interests include developing more accessible and neurodiversity affirming research practices, including clearer study materials and measurement tools for autistic participants.
